Getting Started
For our first project in animation, we animated a bouncing ball. First, we loaded up photoshop and made a new project. Then, we made layers for the sky, crass, ball and clouds. Making grass was the hardest part for me; there were a lot of settings that needed changing in order to make it look good.
Positioning
After loading up our work into After Effects, we had to create a new composition. Then, we had to move the anchor point to the bottom of the ball, so we could move it without it messing up. After that, we went into the layers and made keyframes for every bounce.
Squash and Stretch
Squashing and stretching was the hardest part of actually animating it. We had to made multiple key frames for each individual point. We had to mess with the position, rotation and scale of each keyframe. Overall, this project was pretty easy, but it was a nice start.
