Personal Logo

Sketching personal logo ideas was more difficult than I thought it would be. Almost everything  I thought of was very similar to a companies logo. I initially was going to make something with mountains, but it looked too similar to the Adidas logo. In the end, I went with the watercolor stroke with my name in it. It is simple, yet unique. 

Trying to recreate the logo in illustrator was hard. I couldn't make the base look like an actual watercolor brush stroke. After trying to use the shape tools, I food out that i could change the type of brush I used, and a watercolor brush was an option. I used a modern looking, simple font, that looks clean. I used the color teal because it is relaxing to look at. 

I think that my work was decent. I wish there was more i could have done to make the watercolor stroke more on my own, but I couldn't figure out a way to do it. I am proud of this, and I feel that I could have done a lot worse.
