Personality Type

My Myers-Brugs personality type is INFP. I am 59% introverted over extroverted, 12% intuition over sensing, 19% feeling over thinking, and 12% perceiving over judging. This means I'm idealistic, loyal to  my values and to people who are important to me. I'm quick to see possibilities. I seek to understand people and help the. I'm adaptable and accepting unless one of my values are threatened. Some famous people who share my personality type are J. K. Rowling, Shakespeare, and Johnny Depp.

My type describes me pretty well. One part that is spot on is that I am introverted. One part that isn't really correct is Intuitive. I feel that I would be more sensing. This helps me understand why I tend to gravitate more towards activities that are more secluded or that doesn't involve a lot of people. It also explains why I prefer individual work over group projects, or how I prefer texting over calling. 

I have learned that although there are only 16 personality types, everyone is still different. People can have a mixture of two of the traits, although it isn't displayed on their type. I also learned that people who are INFP tend to be perfectionists. They also work hard and don't give themselves enough credit for what they have done.

According to the LOBGR animal personality quiz, I am a golden retriever. Retriever personalities are loyal and good at making friends. They don't like big changes, look for security, and can be very sensitive. They tend to be really caring. Most of their relationships are deep, but they only have a few close friends. Retrievers want to be loved by everyone and look for appreciation. They are good at steady work patterns. Their strengths are that they are calm and affirming I think that this quiz is mostly accurate because a lot of the attributes of the retrievers match me. There are a few exceptions though, such as how they work best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
